Advocate, Peer Trainer and a Person Living with NCDs

” Run out of medications during the lockdown period and needed to purchase new ones. However, I had no ID to prove to the military men in town who were ensuring the effectiveness of the lockdown that I am a person living with diabetes so I stayed home. I could not access the prescribed drugs from the community pharmacy as they had none. In the end, I relied on a co-tenant to share his drugs with me since he was also a person living with diabetes.
